Today in the Czech Republic the first round of presidential elections ended in a victory for Miloš Zeman. Zeman got 43% of the votes which means there is going to be a second round of voting on the 26th. The candidate who will be facing off against Zeman is Jiří Drahoš, a pro western Social Democrat who got 25% of the votes.
2018 Syria Bombing
Well, looks like the Trump administration has admitted to being nothing more than the same old same old. In response to another fake chemical gas attack in Syria, the United States Air Force, Her Majesty's Royal Air Force, and Armée de l'Air Française all have started bombing runs in Syria. The bombing runs started on yesterday April 13th (Friday the 13th). In a speech given about the airstrikes Trump said they would target infrastructure that could be used for gas attacks. Most likely this means army and air force bases. Given that Russian state media is telling their citizens what to stock up in their bomb shelters this situation
